CWD Limited recently launched India’s first Low Power 2.4 GHz + LoRa® dual combo-module – CBTLRM02 in partnership with the world’s leading wireless technology innovators, Semtech Corporation and Nordic Semiconductor. The module combines Semtech’s SX1262 and Nordic’s nRF52833 SoCs for building advanced IoT applications.
CBTLRM02 is a multiprotocol, highly flexible, ultra-low power module designed for high data rate long-range wireless communication in the 2.4 GHz ISM band for Low Power 2.4 GHz and 150 MHz to 960 MHz bands for LoRa®.
Staying ahead of the competition
Latest SoCs: The module combines advanced and powerful ICs, Semtech’s SX1262 and Nordic’s nRF52833 to provide complementary hybrid IoT connectivity. While nRF52833 provides AoA / AoD features and an extended temperature range of -40°C to 105°C, SX1262 based on Semtech’s LoRa® CoreTM platform enables global LoRaWAN® network coverage at extremely low power.
Compact size:CBTRLM02 integrates both SoCs and dual-antennas on a single board. With a smaller footprint compared to similar products in the market, the module offers users an advantage for their size constrained IoT devices.
Software Stack + Business Logic: The module enables the software stack and application business logic to run on-board, eliminating the need for an external micro-controller unit (MCU). This significantly lowers the overall bill of materials (BOM) cost for customers and enables them to conveniently develop a low-cost solution.
On-board antenna: The CBTLRM02 hosts two on-board Ignion chip antennas for both Low Power 2.4 GHz and LoRa® further reducing the bill of materials cost significantly for the users while also increasing convenience in developing custom solutions.
Three crystals: The module hosts a total of three crystals, which allows for a high Q factor, high stability and minimal phase noise.
